Psychiatrist Opportunity At Geode Health

We are looking for passionate adult and child psychiatrists for both full and part-time roles. The ideal candidate will be motivated by joining a quickly growing organization and excited to help us improve the care experience for patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite psychiatric care that is timely and appropriate, including medical evaluations to determine treatment needs.
• Offer medication management and ongoing care in line with current practice standards.
• Accurately document in the EMR in accordance with Geode procedures and standards.
• Deliver services via telehealth when appropriate.
• Provide leadership, collaboration, and training to nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
• Independently and promptly document and navigate the EHR.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership, billing, and compliance to ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Board certified in Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted medical license.
• Proactive with a strong work ethic and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
• Maintain highly confidential information.

Working Conditions

• Standard office environment with occasional travel to client locations.
• May require evening or weekend hours to accommodate schedules.
• Potential exposure to stressful and emergency situations.

Physical Requirements

• Sit for 3-4 hours at a time for patient care and documentation.
• Fine motor skills for typing and using a mouse.
• Clear speech for effective communication.
• Ability to hear and understand others.
• Visual ability to view monitors and small objects.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
