Supply Chain Analyst
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst in Atlanta, GA. Overview: The contractor will lead and evaluate supply chain activities including inventory management, procurement, production planning, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. This assignment is integral in developing new forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics channel decision processes. Assignment tasks include preparing multiple reports and dashboards, managing day-to-day replenishment activities, and answering store replenishment questions. The contractor will oversee process improvement projects, identify key stakeholders, and educate supply chain stakeholders on new processes. Additionally, the assignment involves developing decision support tools and financial models to analyze cost/benefit tradeoffs, and analyzing multi-tier distribution channels for cost and service level tradeoffs. The contractor will also gather supply chain best practices and develop strategies to support business case development. Duties:
- Participates in developing new forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics channel decision processes
- Creates and prepares multiple reports and dashboards; Manages day-to-day replenishment activities, answers store replenishment questions, and reports and follows up on all key inventory metrics
- Manages process improvement projects within the Supply Chain; Identifies key stakeholders, owners, and resources needed to execute; Educates and influences key supply chain stakeholders on the benefits of new processes
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
