TRAILER SALES MANAGER

- Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities
- Work with manufacturers to place purchase orders and re-order new trailer loads
- Organize the yard from trailer delivery, assembly when needed and placement
- Grow knowledge of trailers and typical equipment uses with a broad industry understanding of the competitive landscape
- Build and form relationships with potential clients including landscapers, construction companies and local government
- Administration involving loading trailers on the website and the dealer management system, preparing and sending quotes, processing customer paperwork and assisting in any 3rd party financing processes
- The role is active and will entail moving and unloading trailers on delivery days, hooking up trailers with customers at the time of sale, fitting spare tires and wheels and working with other location sales and service
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field (equipment sales a plus)
- Good negotiation skills with experience of working with a wide range of customers
- IT skills (POS, MS Office / 365, email and inventory management)
- Fast learner if not coming from trailer industry
- Strong leadership qualities with ability to work well with others
- Ability / desire to drive a tractor and forklift
- Ability to build rapport with wide range of clients
- Spanish speaking a plus
- High school diploma minimum but college education a plus
