This contract role is ideal for compassionate nurses seeking hands-on, impactful work throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. You’ll provide essential medical support for students with specialized needs and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Georgia LPN license required
• Prior experience in school or pediatric nursing strongly preferred
• Ability to work with trach and feeding tube care
• Skilled in working with wheelchair-bound students
• Comfortable riding the bus with students as needed
• Professional, communicative, and adaptable to school environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students onsite, including administration of medications and treatments
• Provide support for a wheelchair-bound student with trach and feed tube requirements
• Accompany students on school transportation (bus riding)
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of all nursing services and student interactions
• Fill in for a nurse who will be absent for at least the first three weeks, with lead nurse support
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and the nursing team to ensure students’ health needs are met
