Technician
The Jimmy Britt Automotive Family is seeking an Automotive Technician to assist with both internals and alignments, along with other standard vehicle maintenance as needed. Our dealership continues to grow and we need your help.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work necessary on all fresh inbound vehicles with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
- Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
- Communicate directly with the Internals Manager and Service Manager so customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience as an auto technician
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
- Fast learner and team player
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new tools
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
