Location: College Park and West Midtown offices
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Type: PRN
As a Clinical Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Clinical Operations Manager and Medical Director to support the daily operations of the clinic and ensure exceptional patient care. You will play a vital role in assisting providers, performing clinical and administrative tasks, and helping patients feel supported from the moment they arrive until they leave.
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, and document information in patient charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examinations.
- Maintain inventories of medical supplies and materials to keep the clinic fully stocked.
- Operate EKG and other diagnostic equipment to administer routine tests.
- Administer injections, treatments, and routine laboratory tests as directed.
- Complete client company and OSHA-regulated forms and provide assistance at the front desk when needed.
- Enter data into the EMR system to maintain accurate clinic and patient records.
- Assist providers with patient care and administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinical operations.
- Collect and process lab samples for urine drug screens, hair collection, and breath alcohol testing.
- Conduct audiometry and spirometry testing.
- Provide light wound care and suture removal as needed.
- Perform general office duties such as answering phones, completing patient care documentation, and supporting providers and supervisors with tasks.
- Travel to other center locations as required to support clinic operations.
- Take on other duties as assigned to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

The Clinical Assistant position is best suited for someone with a passion for patient care, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinic setting. The ideal candidate will bring:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program and Certified Medical Assistant required).
- At least two (2) years of experience in a patient care setting, with prior occupational medicine experience.
- A minimum of one year of EMR system experience.
- BLS certification.
- The ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and stay organized in a busy clinical environment.
- Outstanding customer service skills, tact, and professionalism when interacting with patients and staff.
- Competency in using EMR systems and basic office software.
- A commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and respond positively to feedback.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Qualified Drug Screen Collector
- Qualified Breath Alcohol Technician
- NIOSH Spirometry Training
- CAOHC Hearing Training
