Staff Accountant (Record-to-Report) – Software Company | Hybrid Lawrenceville, GA | Interim Contract

Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
Compensation: $40-45 per hour
Note: Month-end close week is fully remote

Overview

Beech Valley is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Record-to-Report (R2R) process for a software client. This is an interim, full-time role for someone who can jump into core operational accounting, help keep month-end moving, and contribute to audit readiness and documentation.

What You'll Do

• Support the full Record-to-Report cycle, including recurring close activities and accounting operations

• Assist with cash reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations

• Support fixed asset accounting tasks (tracking, rollforwards, reconciliations)

• Contribute to month-end close activities: preparing support, posting support schedules, and helping tie-outs

• Assist with audit readiness : organizing support, responding to requests, and improving documentation

• Create and maintain process documentation and checklists to improve consistency and controls

What We're Looking For

• Staff Accountant-level experience in operational accounting and/or month-end close support

• Strong reconciliation skills and comfort working with detailed support schedules

• Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

• Comfortable working a hybrid schedule with onsite collaboration

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP and/or Sage (preferred)
