Databricks Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Databricks Engineer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY/Alpharetta, GA. Candidates must have strong expertise in Databricks workflows and cost optimization, while fine-tuning ML models and managing automated deployment processes.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Databricks Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement end-to-end machine learning solutions using Databricks Unified Analytics Platform.

• Fine-tune and optimize machine learning models deployed in production environments.

• Set up and manage automation processes for model training, evaluation, and deployment on Databricks.

• Optimize Databricks cluster configurations and resource utilization to ensure cost efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into existing products and workflows.

• Implement best practices for version control, testing, and documentation of ML models and pipelines.

• Monitor and analyze model performance, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field.

• 4–6 years of experience in machine learning engineering with hands-on Databricks expertise.

• Strong proficiency in developing and optimizing ML models on the Databricks platform, including cluster configuration and cost management.

• Experience with automation of ML workflows, version control, and best practices for deployment in production environments.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
