Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatric care within a long-term school setting in Decatur, GA. This full-time, on-site role is designed for dedicated professionals passionate about supporting students' developmental and functional needs. Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably within school settings.
- Ability to engage effectively with children requiring long-term therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with educational staff to assess and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services tailored to students educational and developmental goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, communicating outcomes to parents and educators.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive student support.
