Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic who can tackle a variety of mechanical and electrical issues in Class 8 trucks. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working on heavy-duty vehicles and is looking to join a passionate team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot electrical systems
Conduct repairs for brakes, clutches, and general mechanical issues
Work on engine components, including water pumps, turbos, and radiators
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within safety guidelines
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve issues efficiently
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in diesel mechanics specializing in Class 8 trucks
Verified prior experience with references
Must have your own tools and reliable transportation to and from work
CDL certification is a plus but NOT needed, enhancing your ability to perform job-related tasks
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
