Job Summary

Hi, We are a 22-year-old business based out of Lilburn, GA. We are a small family-run and progressive business. We have an office in Lilburn, a Showroom in downtown Atlanta, and Sales Reps and Customers throughout the country. We are a wholesale and retail distributor of home decor.

Our company is seeking a full-time Customer Service / Admin Support candidate to provide excellent customer service to our clients, efficiently manage office tasks, coordinate staff activities, and independently handle duties assigned by management. We are looking for an experienced individual who is efficient and a productive member of a team. The ability to multi-task and manage administrative support is essential for this position. The ideal candidate for this job should have excellent verbal and written skills, be resourceful, a good problem solver, well organized, and adept at time management. Assuring a steady completion of tasks in a timely manner is the key to success in this position.

Full-time employment benefits include 2-4 weeks of paid leave vacation (in addition to the 10 National Holidays/year), 75% of the health insurance benefit, as well as employee discounts on our products and periodic incentivized performance bonus.

  • Should be highly motivated, a fast learner with the ability to work independently but also be a team player.
  • Needs to demonstrate computer proficiency and strong data entry skills. Advanced level of computer expertise expected (including Google searches, Chrome, Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, and Word)
  • Be proactive and responsive with all tasks with a positive attitude - Should be willing to learn and take on various responsibilities and pursue personal growth and that of the organization.
  • Great work ethics is a must - should be punctual, diligent, with a positive outlook, work accurately, honestly, and with integrity

Job Description and daily tasks

  • Answer phones/check messages/return calls/ email (in a timely, highly professional, humble, and courteous manner)
  • Process orders and coordinate shipments - Experience with Navison is a plus
  • Handle customer queries, resolve problems, identify opportunities to up-sell/cross-sell other products
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Getting freight quotes
  • Deal with and resolve customer issues or complaints
  • Process product returns, create RMAs and follow up with customers
  • Process payments and refunds
  • Order office supplies, keep workstations and machines stocked, stuffing catalog packets and distributing mail
  • Should have a good eye for details and be able to proof-read various marketing materials including catalogs, pricelists, scan sheets, etc.
  • Chat support - assist with chat requests for upto 2 websites
  • Showroom assistance - product tagging/inventory count / other miscellaneous tasks and set up showrooms
  • Diligent follow-through of open actions is a must and timely completion of on-going projects with full accountability is essential
  • Expected to perform ad hoc tasks within a reasonable time frame and within deadlines as and when requested by the management
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements

  • College education required
  • Excellent communication and Sales skills - Has to be a people person
  • Be at an intermediate to advanced level in computer operation (Google Suite & MS Office)
  • Must be proactive and be able to work independently and diligently with minimum supervision
  • Needs to be detail-oriented, well organized and be willing to go the extra mile and take on additional responsibilities, when needed
  • Should be able to pass a background check
  • Experience with Navision is a definite plus

Related Details:

Compensation and benefits are dependent on experience, qualification and drive. There will be a periodic additional incentive bonus based on performance.
