Peach State Roofing is growing and adding a Project Accountant to our team! We focus on private commercial re-roofing projects with single-ply and sheet metal installations. Peach State Roofing is widely recognized as one of the country’s top single ply commercial roofing contractors.

This role will be in person at our Lawrenceville, GA headquarters. The Project Accountant will work with our Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams to assist in setting up and closing out jobs. This role will also work closely with the Project Coordinator and Accounts Receivable to complete these processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with job set up process by verifying contracts, budgets, and project contact details.
• Monthly review of job costs vs. budget and analysis of job profitability.
• Assist Accounts Receivable on progress billing, lien waivers, other supporting documents.
• Review subcontractor payment draws, collection of Subcontractor lien releases via DocuSign, communicate with Accounts Payable all documentation is received prior to release of payments.
• Warranty set up collection of approved inspection reports.
• Follow up on open Accounts Receivable.
• Projects to assist department heads as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years office experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, especially OneDrive/SharePoint and Excel, and general computer experience.
• Organized, highly motivated, and detail oriented.
• Ability to work with multiple individuals and departments.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Prior accounting or construction experience.
• Previous experience with Sage 100 Contractor or Sage products.

Pay starting at $50,000/year based on experience.
