Sr. Collections Specialist - Remote
This Sr. Collections Specialist Position Features:
• 3-month Contract With The Possibility Of Extending
• Fully Remote
• Growth Opportunities
• $25-$27hr
Manage inbound and outbound collection activities for delinquent mortgage accounts
Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers throughout the loss mitigation process
Review borrower financials and determine appropriate retention or liquidation solutions
Negotiate payment arrangements and assist customers with resolving account issues
Maintain accurate documentation and account records
Ensure compliance with investor guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company policies
Handle escalated borrower concerns with professionalism and empathy
Analyze account details and make informed recommendations based on financial documentation Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in:
Collections
Loss Mitigation
Mortgage Servicing
Strong knowledge of:
FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC investor guidelines
Fair Debt Collection laws
Bankruptcy procedures and regulations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
