What You'll Do
- Assist and support the qualification of proprietary systems by successfully implementing bid strategies to close business
- Act as a liaison between the Engineering Department and the client to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and execute a business development plan focused on transportation, private development, commercial projects and infrastructure construction
- Conduct business review meetings with customers and report customer information internally through call reports
- Maintain prospect list and detailed quote log to track success rate
- Make customer visits and attend conferences as needed to better understand industry needs and develop markets
- Demonstrate all phases of the sales cycle, including prospecting, acquiring, identifying and qualifying customers
What You'll Need
- Ability to travel regionally between 25% - 50% of the time
- Minimum 2 years work experience in heavy civil, bridge, or concrete construction projects strongly preferred
- Minimum 2 years sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly motivated, and a self-starter
- Exceptional organizational, prioritizing, and time management skills
Your Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
