OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Athens, GA by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Work nationwide for HMD Trucking out of Athens, running OTR solo CDL-A dry van lanes that combine dependable freight and a team-oriented dispatch approach.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver dry van freight safely across regional and national routes.
• Keep accurate DOT logs and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch to manage routing and on-time performance.

Equipment & pay: Compensation starts at 65 CPM with weekly averages around 2,500 miles and bonus opportunities for safety, clean inspections and referrals. Fleet units are under three years with APUs, inverters and sleepers and backed by in-house maintenance. Home every two weeks and full benefits (health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k)).

Requirements: Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
