Wet-Chem Process Equipment Field Service Specialist (Solar & Semiconductor)
Step into a day on the road
Begin your week in New Iberia, where you’re based, reviewing the project slate and preparing for customer visits. Some weeks you’re local; others you’re on a plane—traveling up to 40%—to a solar or semiconductor facility that relies on high-end wet chemical surface treatment machinery built by a leading South Korean manufacturer. On site, you dive into controls and hardware, resolving issues that keep sophisticated production lines running.
What you’ll tackle
- Troubleshoot and repair wet chemical surface treatment equipment and related systems.
- Work directly with PLCs to diagnose faults, adjust logic, and verify machine performance.
- Apply practical know-how across low-to-high voltage systems, AC/DC motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Where and how you’ll work
- Base of operations: New Iberia (travel to customer sites up to 40%).
- Manufacturer HQ (Company Location): Cartersville, GA.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Compensation: $30–$35 per hour.
- Pay cadence: Weekly.
