Per Diem School-Based Paraprofessional Trion, GA

This per diem position is designed for professionals dedicated to promoting academic, behavioral, and social development in students through personalized support. Working within a school setting in Trion, GA, you will provide essential one-on-one and small group assistance that fosters a positive learning environment and helps students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized academic, behavioral, and social support under teacher supervision
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide mobility aid, supervision, and personal care when needed
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment conducive to learning

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Compliant with TB testing per district regulations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in educational support, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or experience as an RBT, ABA Therapist, CPI, or PMT is a plus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative mindset
