Join the BrightStar Care Team as a Home Care RN and Excel! Located in the North Dekalb area.

You would be responsible for providing direct patient care and conducting Caregiver supervisory visits when needed. A higher standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on patient care - conducting initial assessments, reassessments, skilled nursing care, wound care, performing infusions etc. You may fill in if other team members call out for their shift.
• Effectively communicates with families, community partners, physicians, and other health care providers to ensure adequacy of services provided and supervision of aids.
• Perform care as defined by client's individual Plan of Care and within scope of state's nurse practice act.
• Monitor patient's condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes.
• Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.
• Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
• Reviews clinical and progress notes and summaries of care.
• Proactively updates client/patients' family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• License as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Georgia where care is provided.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, BLS CPR card, and an up-to-date TB skin test or Chest X-Ray
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience
• Minimum one (1) to two (2) years of infusion therapy is preferred.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, BLS CPR card, and an up-to-date TB skin test or Chest X-Ray
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull.
• Must be able to lift or transfer up to 50 pounds.
