Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Paint Prep Technician to join our growing team. This role is critical in delivering the high-end finishes our brand is known for. You will be responsible for preparing vehicles for paint through meticulous surface preparation, ensuring every vehicle meets our elevated standards of craftsmanship and quality.

- Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint by cleaning, sanding, and masking with a high level of precision
- Perform both dry and wet sanding techniques to achieve smooth, paint-ready surfaces
- Identify surface imperfections and ensure proper correction prior to painting
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Adhere to all safety protocols when working with chemicals, paints, and equipment
- Collaborate closely with painters and technicians to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
- Support restoration and custom build projects as needed
- Previous experience in auto body, paint prep, or automotive restoration preferred
- Experience with dry sanding and wet sanding techniques required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with vehicle systems is a plus
- Proficiency using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and extended periods of standing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
