Medical Assistant/ Front Desk (Alpharetta)

work hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Clinical Duties (Back Office)
- Patient Rooming: Warmly greet and escort patients to exam rooms; prepare them for their examination or procedure.
- Vitals & Intake: Accurately measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, and weight) and document the patient's chief complaint.
- Clinical Triage: Perform initial patient triage, gathering relevant medical history, reviewing medications, and prioritizing patient needs for the provider.
- Provider Support: Assist physicians and nursing staff during exams, procedures, and routine screenings as needed.
- Patient Flow Management: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all demographic and insurance information is accurate and up to date.
- Communication Hub: Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, routing calls, taking accurate messages, and addressing patient inquiries with a professional demeanor.
- Medical Records Management: Maintain, update, and organize Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) in strict compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- General Administration: Handle daily administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient recalls, processing copayments, and scanning/filing medical documentation.
