Position Overview:
The Sales Director will lead all aspects of the sales function in a B2B-focused nutritional products and health & wellness manufacturing environment. This role is critical in achieving revenue targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring sales strategies align with overall company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of strategic sales plans.
Manage existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Build and mentor a high-performing sales team.
Implement and optimize scalable sales systems and processes.
Develop pricing strategies to meet profitability targets.
Collaborate with product development on go-to-market strategies.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry and regulatory standards.
Provide sales forecasts, reporting, and insights to senior leadership.
Support brand presence through input on web and digital content.
Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform business strategy.
Qualifications:
Proven B2B sales leadership experience in nutritional products, dietary supplements, or health & wellness manufacturing.
Strong skills in strategic account management, communication, and negotiation.
Demonstrated success building sales teams and infrastructure.
Experience with CRM tools, Excel, Google Sheets, and data analysis.
Hands-on, proactive leadership style with a drive for results.
Understanding of industry-specific compliance and certifications preferred.
