This is high level public safety and security work that ensures operational continuity, brand protection and public confidence; responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of all safety, security, emergency management, and risk mitigation functions for a live entertainment touring operation; ensures the protection of performers, crew members, support staff, vendors and customers; enforces safety policies, leads crisis management operations, coordinates with local authorities, and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations; oversee security operations including load-in and load-out, rehearsals, performances, special events and VIP engagements; design crowd management and access control plans; manage perimeter security, credentialing systems, and backstage access; coordinate with venue security teams and third-party contractors; develop traffic and ingress/egress control plans; develop and maintain Emergency Action Plans (EAP) and Incident Response Plans; serve as Incident Commander during critical incidents; coordinate with local emergency services including police, fire and EMS; manage third-party security vendors; monitor local, national, and global security advisories; oversee bag check procedures and prohibited items enforcement and balance security with positive guest experience; protect equipment, vehicles and cash handling operations; present post-incident reports and corrective action plans and provide regular safety briefings to executive leadership and perform additional duties as needed or at the request of the Supervisor and/or Executive Team.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology or Public Safety, (or closely related discipline) is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED with prior law enforcement or military experience (required).
• Must have a minimum of (5) years experience in live entertainment, large-scale events, touring productions, sporting events (or a related field) OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
