Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients per current care plans
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, monitor patient responses, and address adverse events
- Conduct ongoing assessments, document progress notes, and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to implement and update plan of care
- Maintain strict infection control and isolation precautions (including COVID and other isolations) and ensure patient safety
- Prepare patients and families for discharge, provide education, and coordinate post-discharge needs

Requirements
- Current, active RN license in Georgia; Nursys license verification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
- EPIC electronic medical record experience is required or willingness to quickly learn
- Ability to work a night shift in a hospital setting and to comply with isolation protocols
- Candidates must provide a work history/profile with no gaps greater than 60 days, plus Skills Checklist, References, Certification Card, and Nursys license verification
- All demographics and a badge-appropriate photo must be loaded into the profile
- No time off requests (RTO) permitted for this assignment
