NOW HIRING: CONCRETE FOREMAN
Athens, GA (Wastewater, Infrastructure & Site Prep Projects)
Pay: $27–$34/hour to start, DOE

Position Overview

We’re seeking a seasoned Concrete Foreman to oversee the installation and finishing of concrete structures across municipal and industrial construction projects. Projects may include sidewalks, curb inlets, catch basins, headwalls, ramps, drainage channels, and other site concrete installations consistent with infrastructure work Indeed+8Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6+8Kinsley Construction Careers+8Indeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crew members throughout daily operations

• Coordinate task assignments, schedules, and workflow from start to finish

• Understand and enforce quality standards for formwork, finishing, batching, and placement

• Manage concrete pours, grading, forming, rebar, and finishing to spec

• Read blueprints, survey elevations, grade stakes, and align concrete structures accurately

• Maintain a safe job site compliant with OSHA regulations

• Communicate with project team members, district engineer or superintendent, inspectors, and subcontractors ZipRecruiter+1

✅ Qualifications & Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in concrete work with crew leadership or foreman responsibilities

• Expertise with various concrete elements: sidewalks, curb & gutter, catch basins, drainage structures, etc. Facebook+12Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6+12Indeed+12

• Skilled in reading and interpreting plans, setting grades, and establishing formwork layouts

• Strong leadership and clear verbal communication skills

• Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions
