General Description

Elemaster US is actively seeking a Conformal Coating Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience working in a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Conformal Coating environment and the Electronics Manufacturing Industry. Candidates selected must have the ability to adapt to new machines and have prior experience operating several different types of dispensing and coating machines. Additionally, we are seeking candidates that have great communication skills, and can interact well with colleagues in the Conformal Coating area, as well as team members in other departments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required.
• 2-5 years’ experience in PCBA Conformal Coating environment
• Successfully complete and pass internal courses offered by the company that are required to support the job function.

Responsibilities:

• Mask and/or tape circuit boards in areas that are to be free of conformal coating or potting.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure proper coating coverage.
• Maintain the coating and dispensing machines to ensure proper operating condition.
• Maintain coating materials log to control FEFO (First Expired / First Out) .
• Remove any excess coating and perform manual touch-up on areas the coating machine may have missed to ensure boards maintain a consistent high quality
• Safely and securely transport circuit board racks from one destination to another to eliminate delays in the manufacturing process and production workflow.
• Machine maintenance, which includes, changing the fluids and mixers and cleaning machines to ensure proper and efficient operation.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to sustain a safe and clean working environment at all times.
• Be knowledgeable of the various materials used.
• Must complete required Specific Function Training courses
• Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor to accommodate fluctuating production requirements

Accepting Applications for 2nd shift: Monday to Friday; however, hours may vary. You may be required to work some weekends (Saturday) and overtime as required.

• 2nd Shift Schedule: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (may vary)

• Physical demands : While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, twist and reach during the workday.
• Visual Acuity: Specific vision abilities required by the job is the ability to have clarity and sharpness from a distance, when in close view, peripheral awareness/vision (side vision), depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and color vision.
• Work environment : Job duties are performed on the production floor in a factory setting. Noise level in the production work environment is usually minimal.

• Electronics Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)
• Conformal Coating Operator: 2 years (Required)
• working in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Conformal Coating: 1 year (Required)
