Senior Staff Accountant

We are growing both organically and through acquisitions! We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as a Senior Staff Accountant as we transform the company and industry. The Financial group will easily be the widest encompassing function within our organization. You will get exposure to a wide range of transactions and will also work on highly visible organizational projects that are very innovative, providing exposure to many different areas within Telementum. This position reports directly to the Controller and will have strong interactions with the other key leaders in the company along with our key customers.

Without the strength of our accounting team, we would not be able to offer the industry-leading service we’re known for. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as an accountant, preferably in a senior role or ready for the next level in your career. You will produce thorough financial-status reports for senior management to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth. Alphacomm custom designs, manufactures and distributes wireless accessories to over 18,000 points of distribution, primarily in the Prepaid wireless market in North America. Alphacomm leads the wireless industry in the number of carrier brands managed and is the first to market carrier-licensed accessory portfolios for over fifty devices launched annually. In-house brands, Quikcell and BosBos , are leading brands designed and manufactured by Alphacomm for the Prepaid channel.

Key Responsibilities:

· Create and maintain accurate accounting transactions.

· Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

· Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

· Ensure timely and accurate bank payments.

· Maintain general ledger accuracy in compliance with GAAP.

· Perform daily financial tasks including posting A/R data and reconciling payments.

· Oversee and review account reconciliations.

· Support internal and external audits; maintain audit-ready documentation.

· Ensure timely A/R collections and communication with customers.

· Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to financial processes.

· Mentor and support junior accounting staff.

· Track and manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.

· Support monthly and year-end close processes and audit reporting.

· Education: BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required.

· Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

· Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP preferred).

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF functions, and large dataset analysis).

· Strong attention to detail with a passion for continuous improvement.

· Highly independent, accountable, and self-motivated.

· Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.

· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
