Our company is in search of a self-directed and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial and accounting-related functions and who will work with the Senior Management to provide reporting and analytics for the business in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a thorough understanding of the financial reporting, completing various month-end and year-endu7 duties including: journal entries with class allocations, maintaining balance of the inter-company accounts, recording and running bi-weekly payroll for 150 employees, reconciling bank accounts and accounts payable coding and entry. This role requires the ability to think and work independently but necessitates working in a team environment.

Athena Medical Management provides healthcare management to multiple clients. Our largest client, Women’s Imaging Specialists, provides state-of-the-art 2D/3D breast imaging and diagnostic ultrasound imaging through 15 free-standing imaging facilities and 3 mobile units servicing Georgia and Alabama.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist with special projects as assigned.

Complete assigned general ledger & inter-company transactions, and perform bank reconciliations.

Run Daily Cast Reporting

Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities as assigned, including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.

Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent time management skills.

Ability to work with others in an open environment.

Flexible with business changing needs.

Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise, payroll providers, and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). PAYLOCITY is a plus and preferred

Experience with running bi-weekly payroll for a minimum of 150 Employees

Experience & knowledge of accounting, budgeting, income taxes, cost control, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles a plus.
