The Position
Our client is seeking to fill a Commercial Relationship Manager role in the Atlanta, GA market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, expanding and retaining commercial relationships that will enable the bank’s Commercial Banking team to achieve or exceed its financial and non-financial goals and objectives. The primary focus of this position is to develop new relationships.
The position includes a generous salary, benefits program and is bonus eligible.
Commercial Relationship Manager responsibilities include:
- Developing new commercial opportunities primarily through direct calling on prospects
and COI’s, and by being active and visible in the community. - Analyzing credit data, financial statements, and tax returns.
- Pulling and reviewing client records and informational reports.
- Preparing and presenting reports for management and committees.
- Aggregating large amounts of data and information from varied sources into clear and
concise reports. - Participating in credit meetings, along with other internal meetings as may be
appropriate. - Underwriting commercial loans.
- Assisting all team members when necessary to meet the borrower expatiations and
Banks goals. - Understand Bank’s strategic goals and guidelines.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- BS, BBA, or BA in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other related field, or the equivalent in experience as a Commercial Relationship Manager in the Commercial Lending Industry.
- Three or more years Commercial Lending Experience a must.
- Strong sales skills, including the ability to gain the trust and confidence of commercial clients / prospects.
- The ability to structure lending opportunities appropriately, balance potential risk to the Bank with the proper return to the Bank.
- Basic knowledge of SBA SOP, USDA Programs and 7a/504 program guidelines.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills (particularly in mathematics).
- Strong financial analysis skills. Must be able to interpret and analyze income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Excellent intra organizational communication skills, both verbal and written. The candidate must be able to effectively analyze, consolidate, and communicate information and ideas both verbally and in writing.
- Critical thinking ability.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer and internet skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, TSoft, Adobe Acrobat, and various web browsers.
- Established ability in meeting deadlines and prioritizing work in an organized manner.
- Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Lending and all banking regulations where applicable.
