ELA Certified Teachers (Grade 6-12)

CERTIFIED ELA TEACHERS – LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY!

Bridging Gap USA is looking for certified teachers with strong ELA expertise to join our team as part-time tutors for middle and high school students. We want to hear from you if you're passionate about education and helping students excel!

Position Details:

• Part-time role with flexible hours.
• After-school and/or Saturday morning availability required.
• Small group tutoring sessions to provide personalized support.

What You’ll Do:

• Teach ELA in small group settings.
• Customize lesson plans to fit each student’s unique learning style.
• Identify challenges and develop strategies for improvement.
• Explain concepts in an engaging, easy-to-understand manner.
• Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Communicate with parents and school staff on student performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certified teachers (state or nationally recognized).
• Strong knowledge of Middle & High School ELA curriculum.
• Teaching/tutoring experience in the subject.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to meet students’ individual needs.
• Availability for after-school sessions & Saturday mornings.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student success.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 9 per week

ELA Specialties:

• Middle School and High School English.
• Grammar & Writing Development.
• Literary Analysis & Critical Thinking.
• AP English Language & AP English Literature. (Higher Pay).
• College Essay Coaching (Higher Pay).
• SAT/ACT English Prep (Higher Pay).

Schedule:

• After school.

• Stockbridge, GA 30281: Local to this area.

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required).

Experience:

• Teaching: 2 years (Required).

License/Certification:

• Teaching Certification (Required).
