Shared Imaging is currently looking to hire a Per Diem (as needed) Imaging Technologist Aide for coverage at our Dublin, GA site.

Work Schedule:

• Site: Dublin VA Medical Center / Carl Vinson VA Medical Center (1862 Veterans Boulevard, Dublin, GA 31021)
• Per Diem, as needed basis for PTO, backlog coverage
• Monday through Friday, limited Saturday's
• 8am to 5pm shift when covering

The ideal candidate must possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology understanding preferred
• Patient care experience strongly preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
• Hard working, detail-oriented, and committed to outstanding patient care
• Team player with a positive attitude

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and directing patients
• Confirming and registering patients
• Verifying all necessary information is available for the test
• Ability to walk to and from hospital and trailer as needed
• Assist patients in and out of the trailer
• Ability to push wheelchairs, gurneys and stretchers
• Assist technologist with positioning patient and assisting them on and off the scanning table
• Assist in setting up MRI scanning areas
• Stocking and maintaining patient dressing rooms, scan areas and control areas
• Ordering supplies
• Other responsibilities as directed
