Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 20252026 school year within a K-12 public school district in Jefferson County, Georgia. This role involves providing speech and language therapy services across multiple school buildings, with a primary caseload of elementary students and some older students in self-contained classrooms.

Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in alignment with IEP goals and applicable state and federal regulations. The SLP will collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress, develop individualized therapy plans, participate in IEP meetings, maintain documentation, and promote generalization of communication skills in various settings. Caseloads may reach up to 55 students as per state guidelines.

Key qualifications for this position:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Georgia SLP license or eligibility to obtain
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows with strong pediatric experience are encouraged to apply
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage caseload across multiple school sites within the district
