As a Locum Hospitalist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical services. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in medical records
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care
• Assist in the coordination of patient discharges and follow-up care
• Stay current with medical guidelines and best practices in internal medicine
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in internal medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Basic computer skills for electronic medical records
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Availability to work flexible hours as needed

Schedule: 7p-7a

Patient Volume: 4-5 admissions per night

Duties: Admit patients, cross-cover patient needs, and respond to codes

No procedures required

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
