Assistant Project Manager | Commercial Construction Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (Office/Remote Flex) Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 Job Type: Full-time About the Role A premier Atlanta-based Commercial General Contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. You will support the Project Management lifecycle from set-up and buyout to closeout, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget. Key Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5+ years in a General Contracting environment (Atlanta market preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Software: Expert-level Procore (required); proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Project, and Excel.
- Location: Must reside in the Metro Atlanta area.
- Skills: Strong "Can Do" attitude, ability to read drawings/specs, and excellent communication. Core Responsibilities
- Project Set-Up: Assist in buyout, bid comparisons, sub-evaluations, and permit acquisition.
- Documentation: Manage submittal logs, draft/track RFIs, and maintain current drawing sets.
- Management: Attend weekly meetings, record minutes, and ensure sub contracts/insurance are current before work begins.
- Financials: Review/code invoices, execute pay apps, and track material deliveries.
- Closeout: Oversee punch list completion and assemble final certification packages. Benefits
