Senior Go Engineer

Location : Primarily remote with occassional travel to Atlanta, GA

What You'll Do

• This engineer will assist in development and support of integrations between national third party delivery partners and one of the premier Quick Service Restaurants in the country
• Work as part of a highly skilled agile pod using leading edge technologies such as Golang, AWS (S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda), and Datadog
• Own technical design collaborating closely with client lead engineer
• Own development team delivery quality and user story execution
• Boost team velocity by developing and implementing quality code in line with acceptance criteria and definition of done
• Estimate and break down user stories or tasks
• Coach and guide junior software engineers
• Assist production support team and trouble shoot more complex issues
• Actively participate in sprint ceremonies

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 4-8 years of Golang (Go) experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills, while working independently
• Strong, collaborative team player
• Experience supporting software applications
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Self-starter with an eagerness to learn new things
• Interest in DevOps and technical applications such as AWS, DataDog, Opsgenie, etc.
• Programming knowledge in python is a plus
• Experience with JIRA is a plus
• Experience with the QSR industry is a plus
