The Senior Front-End Developer (SFD) is responsible for implementing user interfaces
for our clientele's digital projects, working closely with other members of the
Linakis.digital team. The ideal candidate will focus on creating high-value web and mobile
applications, adding new features to existing projects, and developing solutions to meet
advanced and challenging requirements
The SFD will collaborate with the Development Team and maintain open communication
with the Project Management, UX/UI, and Customer Support teams to ensure high-quality
deliverables. They will be expected to deliver functional user interfaces on time and verify
that all deliverables meet technical requirements. The SFD will report daily to the Team
Leader to ensure alignment with delivery timelines and quality standards.
  • Main Responsibilities

• Implement static web user interfaces based on the provided visuals, combining
them with front-end dynamic presentation technologies (Javascript frameworks).
• Diligently follow strict coding standards set by the company, implementing code
that other front-end developers can easily understand and continue implementing.
• Test and improve front-end code until it meets strict standards regarding
compatibility with search engines, correct form validations, page execution speed,
accessibility, etc.
• Add front-end functionality and deliver improvements to existing dynamic
websites and applications possibly implemented by other front-end developers.
• Decide jointly with the Solution Architect on the best practices and technologies
to be used at the interface level of each solution.
• Participate in discussions and provide technical feedback to the User Interface
Designer team, during the phase of the visual design of solutions, ensuring the
technical feasibility of the proposed interfaces.
• Participate in decisions about the use of current and future front-end
technologies.
• Provide effort and time estimates for the implementation of specific front-end
interfaces, as requested by clients.
• Inspect and approve the work to be delivered from other, less experienced front
end developers of each project team in which he/she participates.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use. Qualifications
  • Experience and education
Minimum 5 years in front-end development, with at least 2 years in a similar senior
role.
Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Markup & Styling:
Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processing CSS ( SCSS).
Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG A, AA) and SEO principles.
Experience with the Bootstrap framework is a bonus.
  • JavaScript & Frameworks:
Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+).
Hands-on experience with reactive frameworks, especially React or Vue.js, and
familiarity with jQuery.
Knowledge of Next.js framework (highly valued).
  • Development Tools:
Proficiency in design collaboration tools (e.g., Figma) for translating visual designs
into functional websites.
Strong knowledge of build tools and workflows, including Gulp, Webpack or Vite.
Testing: Experience with unit and integration testing, particularly using Jest; knowledge of
Selenium or Cypress is an asset.
  • APIs & Backend Collaboration:
Proficient in REST API integration.
Basic knowledge of ASP.NET MVC is beneficial for team collaboration.
  • Source Control & Project Management
Proficient in Git
Adherence to corporate processes and procedures.
  • Languages
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
