Responsibilities
- Administer medications and implement respiratory care based on the evaluate-and-treat process and expanded knowledge
- Deliver patient care in complex, multiple problem-patient care situations, with emphasis in critical care areas
- Manage protocol-driven ventilator care with significant independent decision-making and self-direction
- Educate patients and families, coordinate activities, and participate in staff development and education of new employees
- Address population-specific needs across biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational aspects of care
- Contribute to ongoing professional development and participate in education of others as part of the care team

Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist licensure with RRT credential; eligible to practice in Georgia
- Relevant critical care/ICU experience with ventilator management
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a travel assignment
- Strong patient- and family-centered communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize care, and participate in staff education and development
