Salary: $18-$27 hourly depending on experience

Coastal Community Behavioral Health, LLC, is an addiction treatment facility offering a variety of services including medication assisted treatment, individual counseling, group counseling, individualized treatment planning, and coordinated referral services. CCBH is looking to add a Licensed Practical Nurse to our staff to assist in medication dispensing and additional medical duties. We are looking for a nurse who shows an interest and willingness to help those in our community suffering from addiction in a respectful and sensitive manner.

Schedule:

This is a part time position. Nursing hours are typically from 6:00am-11:30am M-F, Sat hours 6:00am-9:30am. Nursing staff rotate Saturdays, and weekdays scheduled are flexible. We are able to work around other work schedules/school schedules (within reason).

We are closed for major holidays.

Job Functions:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of medication to clients, consistent with the clinic policies and procedures. Additionally, the LPN will assist the medical director or program physician as needed.

• Dispense appropriate medication doses, in accordance with clinic procedures.
• Record all doses dispensed and account for all medication used during a shift.
• Accurately record patient details in the electronic medical records system.
• Attend such meetings as directed by the Executive Director and report to the Medical Director as required.
• Assist Medical Director in physical examination of patients.
• Participate in team meetings and provide such data as needed by the team for inclusion of medical treatment plan.
• Monitor diagnostic testing for patients and assigned units, including making outside referrals when appropriate.

Qualification RequirementsEducation

Nurses at Coastal Community Behavioral Health must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and have a current Georgia State Nurses License. Must be First Aid/CPR Certified.

Experience

Previous experience with behavioral health, specifically substance use disorders is preferred but not required.
