Inventory Control Specialist - Chemical Adhesives
Location: Cartersville, GA
Pay: $45-60k
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am -5:00 pm

Position Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist ensures accurate stock levels, tracks material and product movement, and maintains compliance with company procedures. This role supports cost control, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Track, reconcile, and monitor inventory daily/weekly/monthly
- Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory audits
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Record movements, adjustments, and transactions in ERP/WMS
- Coordinate with purchasing and production to align stock with demand
- Verify accuracy of incoming shipments and proper storage
- Improve inventory control procedures to reduce loss and obsolescence
- Prepare inventory and variance reports for the CFO and management
- Support finance and audit documentation needs
- Maintain safe and organized warehouse practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience
- 2–4 years in inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain
- Strong ERP/WMS and Excel skills
- Knowledge of audit and cycle count procedures
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving
- Effective cross-department communication
- Forklift certification preferred
