Outside Sales Representative

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding our client base within a designated territory. The Outside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in promoting our managed services offerings, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Prospect, identify, and qualify new business opportunities through various lead generation techniques, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
2. Conduct thorough needs assessments and understand clients' IT requirements to tailor customized solutions that address their specific business challenges.
3. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, manage sales cycles effectively, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive proposals and presentations that demonstrate the value of our managed services offerings.
5. Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, C-level executives, and IT stakeholders to position Velocity Technology Partners as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and differentiate our services effectively.
7. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory analysis to provide visibility into sales performance and drive strategic decision-making.
8. Represent Velocity Technology Partners at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand, expand our network, and generate leads.
Qualifications:
1. 3+ years sales experience, Marketing, or related field preferred.
2. Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in outside sales, preferably selling IT solutions, managed services, or technology products.
3.Little to Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and managed services concepts.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
5. Demonstrated ability to build rapport, establish trust, and develop lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
6. Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
7. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated territory as needed.
