Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Product Manager to join our dynamic Product team at M-Tech Systems. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the success of our products. You’ll own the end-to-end lifecycle of your product line, from discovery to delivery, ensuring that each feature or solution aligns with customer needs and business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset who can collaborate across departments, lead product development efforts, and deliver measurable outcomes.

We seek a solution-oriented individual who can provide answers rather than just identify problems. Embracing continuous change is key, as innovation and improvement are integral to MTech's culture. This person should have a service-minded attitude, demonstrating a passion for enhancing the work of others and simplifying processes for stakeholders.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities – AI & LLM-Focused

AI Product Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end AI strategic vision for the company from identifying high-impact use cases to delivering market-ready products.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and experts in agriculture/poultry to scope, prototype, and ship solutions.
  • Prioritize AI initiatives based on ROI, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
  • Build and manage AI product roadmaps, translate domain needs into user stories, and prioritize high-impact features.
  • Define success metrics (e.g. yield improvements, efficiency, cost reduction), monitor outcomes, and iterate using data and user feedback.
  • Conduct build-vs-buy evaluations for AI platforms, models, and infrastructure.

LLM & Generative AI Expertise

  • Define strategies for using Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA) including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Collaborate with data scientists to set model evaluation criteria (accuracy, hallucination rate, latency, bias detection) for LLM features.

AI Product Delivery

  • Translate AI/LLM capabilities into clear product requirements with measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead development sprints for AI features, ensuring model lifecycle management: training, testing, deployment, monitoring.

Cross-Functional AI Leadership

  • Partner with domain experts to embed AI in real-world poultry operations — from flock health prediction to automated anomaly detection in feed and climate control.
  • Work closely with engineers and data scientists to design AI-powered workflows that integrate seamlessly into user operations.
  • Educate executives and business teams on AI capabilities, risks, and limitations.

Required Experience – Deep AI Focus

  • 5+ years in product management, with 4+ years leading AI/ML or LLM-based products from strategy to launch.
  • Demonstrated success delivering AI-powered features with LLMs, computer vision, or predictive analytics in production environments.
  • Proficiency in:
    • LLM integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.)
    • Prompt engineering and RAG architectures
    • Model evaluation metrics (accuracy, precision/recall, hallucination detection, bias analysis)
    • AI lifecycle tools (LangChain, Vector DBs, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS)
    • MLOps platforms (MLflow, Vertex AI, SageMaker, Azure ML)
  • Understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and explainability frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills — can translate model outputs and risks into business impact terms.

Preferred

  • Background in agriculture, poultry, or protein production technology.
  • Experience building AI for real-time decision systems or IoT-enabled environments.
  • Knowledge of supply chain optimization in perishable goods or livestock.
  • Track record applying AI in regulated industries.

Why This Role Is Different

Here you will be:

  • An AI authority guiding executive decisions on technology investment.
  • An architect of an LLM-enabled agricultural platform used by global producers.
  • A driver of AI adoption in an industry that is historically underserved by advanced technology.

Preferred Personal Skills/Abilities

  • Strong understanding of designing and optimizing user interfaces for custom software solutions. API experience is also preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing, customizing, and deploying software-generated reports.
  • Clear communication with stakeholders, development team, and other departments is essential.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and features based on business value and customer needs.
  • Leadership skills to guide the development team and ensure alignment with the product vision.
  • Aptitude for identifying and solving problems that arise during the development process.
  • Negotiation skills to manage conflicting interests and reach consensus among stakeholders.
