Overview

Essential Functions and Job Duties

• Processes patients for registration and check-in for diagnostic testing.

• Organizes and processes patient paperwork (i.e.; registration forms patient orders MRI screening forms consent forms).

• Receives and directs telephone calls.

• Prioritizes time so that next days/shifts workload is organized; updates schedules.

• Maintains good relationships with patients and other employees.

• Remains flexible in accepting rotating schedules.

• Performs other duties as assigned. Is authorized to access contrast media.

Education and/or Other Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent. One or two years of clerical experience in scheduling and communications preferred.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Little or no physical effort or strenuous activity other than incidental walking standing bending and reaching and carrying of light loads (1 to 15 pounds). Remains seated 75% of day.

• While performing the duties of this job the employee must be able to work under stress and adapt to changing conditions.
