Warehouse Maintenance Technician
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lagrange, GA, 30240. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility by performing maintenance tasks and troubleshooting equipment issues. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems.
- Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training is a plus.
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
