Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical office. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities Clinical DutiesPrepare patients for examinations and procedures
Take and document vital signs, height, and weight
Record patient medical history and chief complaints
Assist providers during exams and minor procedures
Administer medications and immunizations as directed
Perform basic lab procedures and specimen collection
Clean, stock, and maintain exam rooms and equipment CCM
Administrative Duties
Check patients in and out
Schedule appointments, referrals, and follow-ups
Verify insurance and patient information
Maintain accurate records in EHR systems
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (required)
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred)
Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent preferred)
CPR/BLS certification
Basic computer and EHR experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
