Seeking an Experienced Boiler Technician for positions in Atlanta, Georgia.

Compensation will be determined based on level of experience and expertise.

We are currently looking for local technicians to support operations in the Atlanta area on a long-term basis.

The job entails scheduled forty-hour work weeks with the possibility of occasional overtime.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Diagnose and repair burner management systems, safety controls, and combustion systems on commercial and industrial boilers.
• Handle a variety of components including flame safeguard controls, UDCs, liquid level controls, modulating motors, servo motors, gas pressure switches, and more from leading manufacturers like Honeywell, Siemens, Fireye, and Cleaver Brooks.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters, gas analyzers, and computer software to ensure proper functioning of controls.
• Conduct flue gas readings to optimize burner systems for improved efficiency.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on related equipment such as deaerator tanks, feed water systems, pumps, and heat exchangers.

This role involves physical labor, effective communication skills, a willingness to learn, possession of a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check.

The ideal candidate must be willing to work overtime as necessary and demonstrate proficiency in reading, interpreting, and adhering to standard operating and safety procedures. They should have a strong mechanical aptitude and logical mindset for troubleshooting complex systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Mandatory negative drug screening - pre-employment and random testing

• Compliance with safety protocols including the use of protective gear

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Potential exposure to high noise levels and bright lights
• Schedule flexibility including occasional overtime

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 3 years in Mechanical, Electrical repair, HVAC, Plumbing

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Pushing/Pulling - Ability to lift and carry over 20 lbs with assistance
• Reaching above shoulder - Frequent occurrence during shifts
