Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg/Tele for a travel assignment in Macon, Georgia. This role involves working in a bustling Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital, providing care for patients with various acute and chronic conditions. As a highly valued member of the team, you will play a crucial role in implementing and coordinating patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Coordinate nursing care for patients with heart failure, A-Fib, respiratory and kidney conditions, and other common med-surg diagnoses
• Conduct IV insertion, care, and central line management
• Provide wound care and post-op monitoring
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry
• Engage in discharge planning and patient education, particularly on renal and fluid management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective care coordination

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Two years of Med/Tele RN experience
• Prepared to pass an EKG competency exam
• Preferred: National certification in Medical-Surgical nursing
