Responsibilities
- Provide direct obstetric and neonatal nursing care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart rate tracings, and respond to nonreassuring patterns.
- Assist with labor, delivery (including cesarean delivery when needed), and postpartum care; support pain management and analgesia as ordered.
- Administer medications and manage intrapartum therapies (e.g., oxytocin) per physician orders.
- Document all patient care in the electronic health record (Cerner) with accurate, timely charting.
- Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and collaborate with the obstetric team to ensure safe, quality outcomes.

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) nursing experience.
- Required certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring, and AWOHNN.
- Cerner EHR experience is preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts; shift pattern refers to days in a 3-day sequence (12x3).
