Job Description
The Quality Assurance team continues to expand, and we are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join us. In this role, you will be instrumental with ensuring the quality of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle, creating automated tests, and improving code testability for a one-of-a-kind digital forensic product. Collaborating closely with our Engineering team, you will help make sure the product is both reliable and thoroughly tested.
The successful candidate will flourish making meaningful contributions and elegant solutions, be determined, and manage major turning points independently in a fast- paced environment.
NOTE: This position is primarily remote with the expectation of weekly visits to the Atlanta, GA Headquarters in Roswell, GA.
Role Expectations:
- Create, edit, manage test cases, and test plans;
- Design and manage automated testing suites;
- Work closely with development to increase and improve testing;
- Write, track, and verify software defects;
- Debug complex software systems;
- Work with DevOps to develop CI/CD pipeline testing;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
- 1+ years of experience with software test automation and QA;
- QA Automation;
- Python 3;
- PyTest;
- Linux.
Nice To Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience;
- Low-level OS;
- C;
- API Testing;
- CI/CD Pipeline;
- Writing Unit Tests;
- Docker Containers;
- Familiarity with Test Tracking Tools.
- Cloud;
- Kubernetes;
- Mobile Testing, Android SDK (Java) and/or Xcode (Objective-C); If you have both = Awesome!;
- Arduinos;
- Appium.
Compensation & Benefits:
- The Compensation Range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location and you are selected for an interview, the Talent Acquisition Partner can share more information with you. If the compensation structure for the role includes an incentive component (ie. most Sales roles) the range below represents total target compensation (TTC) (base salary + variable).
- MIN: $100,800 - MID: $144,000 - MAX: $172,800 USD
