Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: Permanent Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in similar sized level 1 trauma facility License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC Must-Have: 2 years experience in a busy emergency department, ED skills checklist, and references Description: Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a float pool position. This role will primarily involve staffing the emergency department to care for boarded patients. Patients may require care in areas such as medical/surgical, stepdown, or ICU. The nurse may also be asked to float to an acute unit if necessary. Candidates must possess strong emergency department experience and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. All applicants should provide a resume with no gaps in employment history. BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications are required. References from previous emergency department positions are necessary.
