Thrive on Skidaway Senior Living, a premier senior living community in Savannah, GA, is seeking an experienced Physical Plant Director to join our leadership team. This critical role oversees both maintenance and housekeeping operations, ensuring our community remains safe, compliant, and welcoming for residents, families, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage maintenance and housekeeping teams with a hands-on, resident-focused approach.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Ensure compliance with life safety, OSHA, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage departmental budgets, vendor contracts, and capital projects.
• Maintain clean, safe, and inviting spaces throughout the community.
• Respond promptly to resident and staff work orders with an emphasis on satisfaction and timeliness.
• Maintain records and documentation for inspections, compliance, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in physical plant operations, facilities management, or a related field.
• Previous leadership experience in maintenance and housekeeping required; senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively handle emergencies and manage competing priorities.
