Senior Customer Success Manager - SAP Data & AI (South Region)
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What you’ll build:
You will be a trusted technical advisor and outcome-driven leader responsible for ensuring our largest customers adopt, consume, and renew SAP’s Data & AI portfolio—particularly SAP Business Data Cloud - SAP Datasphere , SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Databricks and SAP HANA Cloud or equivalent enterprise grade data & analytics solutions. Working closely with Customer Stakeholders, Account Executives, Product Management, Solution Advisory, Implementation Services, and Partners, you will translate business goals into data and analytics adoption plans, drive long-term consumption, and protect and grow revenue.
- Lead post-sale customer engagement across onboarding, use-case identification, adoption planning, and architecture governance to maximize value and drive consumption.
- Create and execute strategic adoption plans that map customer business objectives to SAP technical capabilities and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Coach customers on enterprise data management, modern data architectures (data fabric, data mesh), and hybrid data strategies; advise CIOs and enterprise architects.
- Act as the technical bridge between business and engineering teams—facilitate technical reviews, governance sessions, and re-platforming discussions.
- Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities; manage renewal lifecycle from opportunity to close (CRM, pricing, legal, forecasting and consumption management).
- Track customer health and engagement using Customer Success platforms (Gainsight); own health scores and customer journey playbooks.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources (Value Advisory, Support, Deals Desk, Partners) to remove adoption blockers and accelerate time-to-value.
- Maintain expert knowledge on SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Joule and Generative AI trends
- Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 30%).
What you’ll bring:
- 7+ years in IT with focus on Data Engineering, Analytics Consulting, Solution Architecture, and Technical Customer Success.
- Proven experience creating and delivering strategic adoption plans for mid-to-large enterprises.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP HANA Cloud or equivalent enterprise grade data & analytics solutions with the ability to explain business value to non-technical executives.
- Solid understanding of Data & Analytics architectures, enterprise data management, and modern data stacks.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen: experience with cloud bookings, contract and renewal management, consumption forecasting and revenue recognition.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for executive stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Preferred / a strong plus
- Hands-on experience or deep familiarity with SAP Business Data Cloud concepts and SAP Joule or equivalent enterprise grade data & analytics solutions
- Ecosystem awareness: practical experience engaging with Databricks, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
- Functional domain knowledge in Lines of Business (Finance, Supply Chain, HR).
- Experience with Customer Success tools (Gainsight) and managing global or regional strategic accounts.
- Experience leading cross-functional, global teams and participating in regional/global workstreams.
Where you belong:
